Kakching Super Division and 1st Division Football League tournaments from June 5 and 6

IMPHAL, May 20 : The District Sports Association Kakching is set to host the 21st Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament 2023-24 and the 20th Kishorkumar Memorial 1st Division Football League Tournament 2023-24 from June 5 and 6 respectively at DSA playground.
8-teams viz- Youth Welfare Union (YWU), Kakching; Keirak Makha Social Welfare Club (KMSWC), Keirak; Social Welfare Club (SWC), Keirak; Sena Athletics Organisation (SAO), Kakching; United Brothers Sporting Association (UBSA), Mantak; Laipham Youth Association (LYA), Wangoo; Social Welfare Club (SWC), Waikhong and Langmeidong Mamang Leikai Citizen Club (LMLCC), Langmeidong will vie for top honours in the Super Division League Tournament.
The 1st Division Football League tournament will also feature 8-teams. The teams are- All Kakching Khunou Sports Association (AKSA), Kakching Khunou; Juvenile Association (JA), Kakching; Development Youth Association (DYA), Elangkhangpokpi; Phunal Sports Youth Club (PYSC), Phunal; Sugnu Football Club (SFC), Sugnu; Social Development Organisation (SDO), Pallel; All Irengband Football Association (AIFA), Irengband and Royal Football Club (RFC), Hiyanglam Wabagai.
YWU and LMLCC will kick off the Super Division Football League tournament while the opening match of the 1st Division Football League will see AKSA take on RFC. Both the matches start at 2.30 pm.
