MARD Club crush ELSA 4-0 in Moirang Super Divn Football League

IMPHAL, May 2 : MARD Club, Moirang opened their winning account after two draws in the 4th Keisham Babu Memorial Super Division Football League 2022-23 with a dominating 4-0 win over ELSA, Naranseina this afternoon.
MARD Club started confidently and raced to the lead after 15 minutes through Serto Laban Kom at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School playground before Kh Somorjit made it 2-0 two minutes later with a clinical finish.
The onslaught continued with T Sangkar scoring team's third in the 23rd minute before H Sailesh further extended the lead to 4-0 and left ELSA in a difficult situation.
ELSA however managed to deny MARD Club from adding more to their tally by concentrating more in defence in the second half.
AKSA will play PYDA in the next match on May 4 at the same venue. The match starts at 2.30 pm.
