Karate medallists feted

THOUBAL, May 2 : ISKF Thoubal players who brought home 16 gold, 10 silver and 5 bronze medals from the 9th ISKF National Karate Championship were accorded a warm reception by Sabantongba Youth Development Organisation and players' guardians association at Sabantongba Modern Lampak community hall in Thoubal today.
Notably 18 athletes including one Masters player of ISKF Thoubal branch participated in the National championship which was hosted by All Nagaland Karate Do Association from April 25 to 27 at Logdrum Hr Secondary School, Dimapur.
All the players of the ISKF Thoubal branch including Masters' category gold medallist Rajeshor Singh were presented with simple presents during the reception programme.
