IMPHAL, May 3 : The All Manipur Christian Organi-sation (AMCO) organised a mass prayer service for peace at Tangkhul Baptist Church, Dewlahland to commemorate the first anniversary of the Manipur conflict today.
Addressing the gathering, Rev L Simon Raomai, president, AMCO highlighted the lives and properties lost in the year-long conflict.
Stating that the protracted nature of the conflict does not bode well for the people, he maintained that the prayer service was organised to offer prayers to Jesus Christ for peace in Manipur.
