IMPHAL, May 4: Youth Welfare Club, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th) overwhelmed ICSA, Irengbam 10-1 as FC Imphal devastated Khuman FA 18-0 in today's matches of the ongoing U-17 Khelo India Girls' Football League 2023-24 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong.
Laitonjam Linthoi (22', 49'), Heikham Zenia (33', 45'), Wairokpam Monika (56', 62') and Namram Lamnganbi (71', 73') added two goals apiece in YWC-Th's 10-1 win over ICSA, Irengbam as Yensembam Jandiya (36') and Leikangbam Russia (24') scored a goal apiece.
The lone goal for ICSA was scored by Irengbam Daina in the 77th minute.
Meanwhile in the other match of the day, Chingkhamayum Redima and Khumukcham Bhumika scored 6 goals apiece to inspire FC Imphal a huge 18-0 win over Khuman FC.
Redima hit the opener in the 12th minute before adding five more goals (23', 44', 48', 59', 70') as Khumukcham Bhumika led the scoring in the second half and netted six goals (50', 54', 55', 60', 64', 77').
Sarangthem Khambi (24', 40+2'), Thongam Reshma (33', 40') and Amom Nanao (65', 75') also contributed two goals apiece in FC Imphal's win.
