PHAM rejoices over selection of Priyobarta, Shileima in National junior hockey teams

IMPHAL, May 6 : Posterior Hockey Academy Manipur (PHAM) expressed happiness and pride over the selection of two athletes who grew up playing hockey at the academy in the National junior teams for Europe tour.
 PHAM in a statement said it is a proud moment for the academy that Talem Priyobarta, son of T Mani and T Bala of Lairikyengbam Leikai and Khaidem Shileima, daughter of Kh Loyangamba Meitei and Kh (o) Tilotama Chanu of Kairang Mamang Leikai who were part of the academy from the grassroots level have made it to the National junior men's and women's teams.
Both the India men and women's teams will play Belgium, Germany and club teams in the Netherlands during the tour beginning from May 20 (men's tour), it noted.
May these young players achieve more in the National and international arena and bring home laurels, PHAM prayed.
Notably,   Kshetrimayum Sonia and  Khaidem Shileima from Manipur were named in the junior women's National team today for the Europe tour beginning from May 21.
