IMPHAL, May 8 : Football Lovers registered a 6-5 narrow victory over Khongjon YC in a Pool A pre-quarterfinal match to seal a place in the 1st Thoruwl Trophy Futsal tournament last 8 stage.
Stephen (18', 24') and Lian (26', 29') scored two goals apiece after Fedric (12') and Strongam (16') netted a goal apiece for Football Lovers in this nip and tuck encounter.
Meanwhile for Khongjon YC, Kenphasana (10', 32') scored twice and Jeenpa (11'), Angkadeensha (27') and Kophadeen (39') scored a goal apiece.
