74th Junior Basketball NationalsManipur edge past Meghalaya 62-48 in group stage opener

IMPHAL, May 8 : Manipur kicked off group (F) campaign in the 74th Junior Men's National Basketball Championship with a 62-48 win over Meghalaya this morning.
The championship is hosted by Madhya Pradesh in Indore under the aegis of Basketball Federation of India.
Manipur sealed the comfortable victory courtesy of Rishikanta who amassed 17 points, Lanchenba who gathered 16 points, Newton who collected 15 points and Doif who registered 10 points.
Rahul and Zenith also contributed 2 points apiece to set up the 62-48 win today.
