Arms recovered

IMPHAL, May 8 : A combined team of Kakching commando and Wangoo police recovered a cache of arms and ammunition concealed in an empty rice bag from Wangoo Yellangba hill, today.
The recovered arms and ammunition include one country made 9mm pistol with an empty magazine, six grenades, three covers of 2 inch mortar smoke shell, four empty shells of 2 inch mortar smoke shell, one tube launcher, one bullet proof plate, 1 Baofeng handset, two bullet proof vests, three cartridge chargers and two rings of grenade launcher.
The recovered items have been handed over to Wangoo police station.
