Tin sheets to be distributed to victims: CM

IMPHAL, May 8 : Chief Minister N Biren Singh has said that the Government will start distributing tin roofing sheets to the people whose houses got damaged in the recent hailstorm/thunderstorm from the next 4/5 days onwards.
He made the statement while inspecting several houses in Imphal East which were damaged in the natural calamity.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Keirao AC MLA L Rameshwar who is also the Chairman of Planning and Development Authority, Imphal East DV Kh Diana and ex-MLA of Kshetrigao AC N Indrajit.
During the visit, the Chief Minister took stock of the damaged houses at Keirao Bitra and Keirao Wangma and later interacted with the families taking shelter at State AYUSH Hospital at Keirao Bitra.
N Biren also took out the inspection tour at Bamon Kampu.
