Grassroots level basketball training prog postponed

IMPHAL, May 31 : The proposed month long "Summer Grassroots Level Basketball Training Programme" which was set to begin from June 1 under the aegis of the Manipur Basketball Association has been postponed until further order.
The 30-day training programme which was scheduled to be held at Brahmapur Nahabam Basketball Court has been postponed in view of the flood situation in Imphal and prevailing inclement weather conditions, said the Manipur Basketball Association in a statement.
Further, the Khelo India Women League for U-17 girls which was to be held from the first week of June under Khelo India Scheme has also been deferred until further order, the association added.
