PAWF observes 24th death anniversary of Arambam Samarendra

IMPHAL, Jun 10 : Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), Manipur, on Monday observed the 24th death anniversary of Arambam Samarendra at Nungshikol Park in Lamlai Assembly Constituency.
It was attended by PAWF vice president, P Biprachand; PAWF member & Biramangol College, Sawombung, Manipuri Department, Head, Dr Laishram Landhoni and renowned writer Chana Lukhoi as presidium members.
The event began with the offering of floral tribute to the bust of Arambam Samarendra.
PAWF assistant secretary Laimujam Pratap delivered the welcome address while PAWF secretary Rakesh Naorem gave the keynote address.
Filmmaker OC Meira, eminent writer Kshetrimayum Subadani, Chana Lembi and Thangjam Ibemu spoke on the topic, "Manipurgi Nationalism gi Ihou Sagatpada Arambam Samarendra na Louramba Thoudang".
As part of the event, PAWF felicitated Rajib Konthoujam, Dijen Ngangbam and Apu Ngangbam who came from Bangladesh to assist the conflict survivors staying in relief camps.
