TRAU condoles demise of Lokendro

IMPHAL, Jun 9 : The Tiddim Road Athletic Union (TRAU) executive committee has condoled the untimely demise of the club's former player Potsangbam Lokendro of Kwakeithel Thokchom Leikai on June 6.
A condolence meeting in honour of P Lokendro was convened yesterday at the club's premises with L Bhagaton, president of TRAU in the chair, said TRAU in a condolence note.
The members present not only recalled the contributions of Lokendro as a player during the meeting but also observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul, it said.
While praying for his soul to rest in peace, the members also shared the grief and sorrow faced by the bereaved family members, it added.
