SDO win 2-1 in Kakching 1st Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Jun 11 : SDO, Pallel edged past AKSA, Kakching Khunou by 2-1 goals to open their campaign in the 20th KK Memorial 1st Division Football League on a winning note at DSA Kakching ground today.
L Erik (20') and Ksh Ashutosh (88') were on target in SDO's victory today as Kh Thoithoiba scored the only goal for AKSA in the 67th minute.
The second match between AIFA, Irengband and SFC, Sugnu was however suspended with the score levelled at 1-1 due to some altercations.
The disciplinary committee swung into action following the incident and instructed the participating teams to resume the match on June 13 from 8 am onwards at DSA Kakching playground.
The committee further informed that disciplinary actions shall be taken up in case the team/s fail to turn up for the remaining part of the match on the new date.
