IW Subroto Cup : Wangoi HSS post 6-0 first leg win in U-17 girls competition

IMPHAL, Jun 11 : Wangoi Higher Secondary School (Wangoi HSS) pulled off a 6-0 first leg win over Manipur Star Institute (MSI) in 63rd Imphal West District Level Subroto Mukerjee Football Tournament for U-17 girls today at Langjing Turf.
The one sided match of the two-team tournament saw Konthoujam Reoni (10') and Lakhipiyari (11') scoring a goal apiece before L Menaka ran riot to pump in four goals on the trot (14', 23', 45', 49') and set up the 6-0 win.
The return (final) leg is scheduled tomorrow.
CT HSS vs MSI in U-17 boys' final
CT Higher Secondary School (CTHSS) will lock horns with MSI in the title clash of the U-17 boys final.
CTHSS reached the final with a 3-0 win over Yumnam Huidrom HSS courtesy of goals from Rahul (19'), Alex (23') and Naocha (29') in the first semi-final match today.
Meanwhile, MSI knocked out St Joshep's HSS by 7-1 goals in the second semi-final match.
BBES vs Yumnam Huidrom HSS in U-15 boys' title clash
Black Bird English School (BBES) will face off against Yumnam Huidrom HSS in the ultimate clash of the U-15 boys tournament.
BBES saw off MSI 3-0 courtesy of Aruwao (25'), A Joyson (31') and Md Wajit (36') in the first semi-final match of the 7-team competition today to seal the final ticket.
On the other hand, Kh Thomash scored in the 16th minute to hand Yumnam Huidrom HSS a 1-0 win over Anganghal HSS in the other semi-final match.
