Legal awareness campaign organised

A legal awareness campaign on "POCSO Act, JJ Act, Basic Legal Child Rights" was conducted today at Pitambara English School, Kwakeithel.
The awareness campaign was organised by Legal Aid Club (LAC), Project 'G' in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Imphal West, said a release issued by Project 'G' Foundation.
It was attended by Ashem Tarunakumari, MJS, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West cum secretary DLSA Imphal West; Rattana Ngasepam, Additional SP, IUCAW, Imphal West; Ld. Brahmacharimayum Supriya Devi, vice president, All Manipur Bar Association & panel advocate, MASLSA; Khwairakpam Nillima Devi, principal, Pitambara English School; and Longjam Samson, Board Committee, Project 'G' as presidium members.
The campaign also witnessed an enthusiastic participation of more than 800 students of Pitambara English School.
