IMPHAL, Jun 29 : YWU, Kakching staged an unbelievable fightback to beat SWC-Keirak 4-3 today in the 21st match of the 21st Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament at DSA ground, Kakching.
YWU trailed behind by 3-1 goals in the opening half but resurged in the second half  to turn things around and seal their fifth win in 6 matches of the 8-team tournament.
SWC-K had the better of the start and broke the deadlock through Th Yaiphaba in the 33rd minute before W Sanatomba doubled the advantage three minutes later. Th Tomba however pulled back a goal for YWU in the 44th minute before SWC-K rode on S Malemnganba's added time goal (45+2') to retain their 2-goal advantage.
After the restart, Th Tomba netted his second in the 50th minute to reduce the margin before Ksh Kanta scored in the 89th minute to put YWU on level terms.
As the game looked to end in a 1-1 draw, Jetlee scored 6 minutes into the stoppage time to break the hearts of SWC-K fans and turn things around.
With the win, YWU consolidated themselves on top of the table temporarily on 15 points above SWC-Waikhong who have won five of their five matches.
