AKSA win 2-0 in 20th KK Memorial 1st Division Football League opener

IMPHAL, Jun 6 : All Kakching Khunou Sports Association (AKSA), Kakching Khunou sealed a 2-0 win over All Irengband Football Association (AIFA), Irengband as the 20th Kishorkumar Memorial 1st Division Football League kicked off today at DSA ground, Kakching.
6-teams are taking part in this second tier district level tournament organised by District Sports Association, Kakching.
Th Tomthinganba took centre-stage in the match as he scored both the winning goals this afternoon. Both teams started cautiously and entered into the break goalless but Tomthinganba broke the deadlock after 53 minutes before completing his brace in the 66th minute.
Despite chances, AIFA failed to cut the gap and eventually AKSA walked away 2-0 winners.
Juvenile Association (JA),  Kakching will play Social Development Organisation (SDO), Pallel in the next match on June 9 from 12.30 pm at the same venue before Development Youth Association (DYA), Elangkhangpokpi play Sugnu Football Club (SFC), Sugnu from 2.30 pm.
