SWC-K, SWC-W win in Kakching Super Divn Football League

IMPHAL, Jun 8: Social Welfare Club, Keirak (SWC-K) and Social Welfare Club, Waikhong (SWC-W) opened their campaigns in the 21st Ksh Leihao Devi Memorial Super Division Football League Tournament with easy wins at DSA Ground in Kakching.
SWC-W drubbed Keirak Makha Social Welfare Club (KMSWC), Keirak by 4-1 goals in the second match of the tournament and today's first match courtesy of a hattrick from H Tombi.
SWC-W started strongly and raced to a 3-0 lead before the break with H Tombi scoring back to back in the 24th, 32nd and 38th minutes before Raj Khan pulled back a goal for KMSWC in the 76th minute. S Borish rounded off the scoring for the Waikhong team in the 79th minute.
Later in the day, Th Shital scored twice to earn SWC-K a commanding 5-1 win over Laipham Youth Association (LYA), Wangoo.
Th Shital scored twice in the first half (7', 42') and Kh Rajnikanta scored one (13') in between the two goals to help SWC-K enjoy a 3-0 lead before Th Yaiphaba further extended the lead to 4-0 after 49 minutes.
LYA scored their consolation goal through S Kenish in the 74th minute before U Cameroon dug deep into the stoppage time (90+2') to bang home the final goal for SWC-K.
 SAO, Kakching will play UBSA, Mantak in the next match on June 10 from 12.30 pm before YWU play SWC-W later in the day from 2.30 pm.
