AMNM condoles

The All Manipur Nupi Marup (AMNM) has extended heartfelt condolences upon the passing of noted AMNM leader Athokpam Jandho Devi on June 26 due to an illness. She was 77.
According to a press release issued by Th Shakhi Devi, president, AMNM, a condolence meeting was held at Irawat Bhavan in this connection. The deceased was not only the State council member of AMNM but also participated in many State conferences as well as National Federation of Indian Women (NFIW) meetings.
Leaders of AMNM recalled the contributions of Jandho Devi in the field of women empowerment and development and stated that her demise will be a great loss to the organisation.
The gathering observed a 2-minute silence to pay their respects to the deceased and shared in the grief of the bereaved family.
