DG calls on MHRC chief

IMPHAL, Aug 17: Director General of Police Rajiv Singh called on Manipur Human Rights Commission Chairperson Justice UB Saha at his chamber and discussed the prevailing human rights situation in Manipur.
During the meeting, Justice Saha made several suggestions to the DGP that the State police could initiate in bringing lasting peace in Manipur. Rajiv Singh told the MHRC Chairperson that he has been briefed about the latter's and IGP Zone-I Themthing Ngashangva's visit to Moreh in Tengnoupal district yesterday.
