112th birth anniversary of RK Shitaljit observed

IMPHAL, Aug 18
The Cultural Forum, Manipur organised the 112th birth anniversary of noted writer Rajkumar Shitaljit Singh at the auditorium of DIPR in Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal.
It was attended by Prof Koijam Shantibala Devi, president, The Cultural Forum, Manipur; Prof Rajen Toijamba, Convenor, Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, and retired Professor Huirem Bihari Singh as presidium members, said a release issued by The Cultural Forum Manipur.
During the event, Dr Chongtham Narendra Singh, renowned translator & Senior Advocate, delivered a lecture on "Bhakti Sahitya" and "Rajkumar Shitaljit Singh".
