Condolences poured in over the demise of former joint secretary of Manipur Olympic Association and founder general secretary of the Manipur Wrestling Association on September 21.
In a condolence note, the Manipur Olympic Association (MOA) extended condolences over the sudden demise of T Nabakumar, who was a resident of Chingamakha Yanglem Leikai.
He was the founder joint secretary of the association as well as the founder secretary of the Manipur Body Builders Association and Manipur Wrestling Association, noted MOA.
The members of MOA observed two minute silence as a mark of respect to the department soul during a condolence meeting and prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace in the heavenly abode, it said.
The members of MOA also shared the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family members, it added.
In a separate note, Manipur Wrestling Association said that a condolence meeting was convened this afternoon at the headquarter of the association over the demise of its founder general secretary, T Nabakumar.
The meeting was chaired by SK Sharma, president of Manipur Wrestling Association, it said.
The work and contributions of the late general secretary was fondly recalled during the meeting, it said.
The members present also observed two minute silence in honour of the late founder general secretary and prayed for his soul to rest in peace, it added.
