IMPHAL, Sep 27 : The Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association (MAKKA) has flagged off the State teams for the the 34th Sub-Junior National Kho-Kho Championships beginning tomorrow at Albert Ekka Stadium, Simdega district in Jharkhand.
The championships organised by the Jharkhand Kho-Kho Association under the auspices of the Kho-Kho Federation of India will conclude on October 2.
The players who made it to the State squads based on their performances in the 33rd Manipur State Sub-Junior Kho-Kho Championships held from September 9 to 11 at Indoor Stadium, Thoubal Kshetrileikai are as follows.
Boys : P Thoihenba of SENDYC; Sh Tolenkhomba, N Premchand and Th Tomthin of SCEASDO; L Joshi, Machathoi Laishram and N Tomthin of BASU; Poireinganba Irom and Ph Birendrajit of IEDKKA; N Bikramjit and Sh Brym Sharma of GCH; M Tomthinganba of SADA; M Akenson of ASKKA, Christopher Chingsubam of ALKKA and Yaichenba Yumnamcha of PKDC.
Girls : N Elli Devi, N Nushita, N Merina, L Gracy and N Chanchan Chanu of IEDKKA; N Karuna, Yaiphabi Thokchom , M Henthoi Devi, L Binita of BASU; Y Lanchenbi and Pimeshori Chanu of SADA; K Luxmi and N Lanchenbi Chanu of ALKKA; L Alibina and T Thajamanbi of SENDYC.
RK Kheroda Singh and Th Tunanbi Devi are leading the boys' team as manager and coach while Th Anita and H Premkumar are leading the girls' team as manager and coach.
L Hamarjit and Th Jamuna are also attending the championships as technical officials.
