IMPHAL, Sep 2 : Yairipok FC, Anas FC and Lamlai FC emerged victorious in today's matches of the ongoing 3rd Paona Memorial 9-A-Side Football Tournament at EEO Lamding playground.
In the Group C match of the day, Govin scored twice (20+1', 40') to earn Yairipok FC a 2-1 win over PSWAS whose Samir hit the opener in the 10th minute.
Anas FC meanwhile rode on goals from Md Marguf (18') and Md Anash (32') to seal a 2-0 win over EEO-A in a Group D match.
In the Group A match, Lamlai FC registered a 2-0 win over Cobra FC, Moreh thanks to goals from Akash (34') and Bigyananda (35').
