Wheelchair Basketball camp begins

IMPHAL, Sep 9: The Wheelchair Basketball Association Manipur (WBAM) has started a 5-day residential wheelchair basketball coaching camp at Singjamei Chingamathak Hao ground today.
CYLC Club president Konjengbam Chingkham, WBAM vice president Dr Kiran Yendrembam and WBAM president L Dhaneshwor Singh attended the opening function.
Players selected through the camp will take part in the 8th National Wheelchair Basketball Championship 2024 to be held in Gwalior from October 5 to October 13.
In a statement, the WBAM said it needs financial assistance and people may help the players by making monetary donation to it on Account No 79030100011320 [IFSC No BARBOVJMGAV].
The association thanked YAS Minister and the Dept for providing sports wheelchair and requested further assistance.
