Manipur Cycle Polo Association flags off State teams for National Championships

IMPHAL, Jan 10 : The Manipur Cycle Polo Association  today flagged off the State teams who will be participating in the  45th Senior Men, 43rd Junior Boys and 39th Sub-Junior Boys National Cycle Polo Championships beginning tomorrow in West Bengal.
The 24-member team led by Kongbrailatpam Dhaneshwori as chef de mission; Koijam Tomba as vice chef de mission, Th Chakritombi and Kh Habe as coach and Laimayum Rajesh as manager were formally flagged off from Bir Tikendrajit International Airport in the presence of W Sushilkumar, honorary advisor, Manipur Cycle Polo Association; K Shantikumar, president Manipur Cycle Polo Association and other functionaries of the association.
The players who will be representing Manipur at the championship that will be held at Habibpur, Ranaghat in West Bengal are as follows.
Senior Men: Thangjam Basanta, Sinam Bimol, Alex Aheibam, Salam Khagingamba, Tomthin Rajkumar, Wangkhem Abothe, Sinam Saolin and Nongthombam Premananda.
Junior Boys: Pebam Dhanish, Sinam Bonbon, Thangjam Nongpoknganba, Sanoujam Chingkhonba, Loitongbam Raja, Amakcham Amar, Wanglen Elangbam, Thingbaijam Thoihenba.
Sub-Junior Boys: Heigru-jam Punshiba, Wangkhem Lanchenba, Leishangthem Korounganba, Moirangthem Malemnganba, Denish Ahei-bam and Ringkey Thokchom.
