The Gym LYS emerge overall team champions of 13th State Level Benchpress Championship 2024

IMPHAL, Jan 5 : The Gym LYS, Kwakeithel emerged overall team champions of the 13th State Level Benchpress Championship 2024 that concluded today at Sega Road, Takhellambam Leikai.
The championship organised by the All Manipur Powerlifting Association saw participation of 80 athletes across Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior and Masters age groups.
The second day of the championship saw Hanjabam Hritikraj of PBBPTC win the 74 kg junior men's title completing 145 kg lift as compatriots Michael Ningthoujam (80 kg) and Ningthoujam Monish (65 kg) finished second and third.

Hanjabam Hritikraj of PBBPTC and Thangjam Leima Chanu of The Gym LYS were also adjudged best lifters among men and women.
