KNK romp past IMCC 4-0 in Moirang 3rd Division Football League opener

IMPHAL, Oct 12 : The 3rd Division Football League Tournament organised by DFA Moirang kickstarted at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School with KNK, Keibul drubbing IMCC, Ithai by 5-0 goals.
L Dhoni Singh shone in the big win for Keibul team as he scored a hattrick (5’, 32’, 60’) before M Sanamacha (63’) and Md Ajish (73’) added a goal apiece to set up the 5-0 win for KNK against hapless IMCC in the Group A opener.
8-team clubbed into two groups are taking part in the tournament. SCYA, Terakho-ngsangbi and ST Xavier School, Moirang are also clustered in Group A alongside KNK and IMCC while Yarou, Keibul; KSC, Kokilbon; FC Kumbi and UKC, Saiton are drawn in Group B. Yarou will play KSC in the Group B opening match tomorrow from 1.30 pm before FC Kumbi play UKC in the  second Group B match from 2.30 pm.
