Fire controlled

IMPHAL, Oct 15 : A fire erupted at Mellow Restaurant at Thangmeiband Maisnam Leikai today around 4.30 pm.
According to the Manipur Fire Services, the fire was ignited by an LPG cylinder leak at the restaurant owned by one RK Xavier (44), a resident of Nagamapal Kangjabi, near Thau Ground.
 The fire destroyed a portion of the kitchen, but a quick response by the Fire Services prevented it from spreading.
Director of Manipur Fire Services L Nabachandra, also visited the site to assess the situation.
