3 pc DA approved

IMPHAL, Oct 20: The Governor-in-Council chaired by Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on October 17 approved to release an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to State Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners with effect from October 1, 2025, representing an increase of   3 percentage points over the existing rate of 39 per cent of the Basic Pay/Pension to compensate against price rise.
This will benefit about 76,000 State Government employees and 60,000  pensioners, according to a press release issued by the Finance Department, Pay Implementation Cell.
