State Women’s U-19 T20 Trophy team to leave Imphal today

IMPHAL, Oct 22 : The State team who will be participating in the Women’s U-19 T20 Trophy 2025-26 (Plate) will be leaving Imphal on October 23 for Lucknow ahead of the tournament beginning on October 23.
The team comprise 15 players and 5 support staff.
As per a notification issued by the Manipur Cricket Association, Tongbram Bandana Devi will be leading the team as the captain alongside vice captain Ningthoujam Taniya. Other players in the team include Ningthoujam Langlen (WK), Sapam Kebriya Lourembam Prena, Moirangthem Creety, Najiya Begum, Athokpam Tennish, Sheikh Neha, Thokchom Alice, Ahongsangbam Thoithoibi, Khundrakpam Bijiya, Hanglem Priyanshee, Barkatun Khanam, and Hemam Lingjen.
The support staff include Soibam Chaningkhombi as manager, Haobam Sunil as coach, Sarangthem Birjit as assistant coach, Maisnam Niketan as trainer and Hijam Anupama as physiotherapist.
Manipur will face Arunachal Pradesh in the opening match on October 26 before Manipur play Meghalaya next on October 27. Manipur will meet Mizoram on October 29 in the third match before facing Sikkim on october 31, and Nagaland on November 2.
The top two teams after round robin league will play for the Plate Division title on November 4.
All the matches will be played at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
