Biramangol College emerge champions of MU Inter College Wrestling Tournament

THOUBAL, Oct 22 : Biramangol College emerged champions of MU Inter College Wrestling Tournament for men and women hosted by the Games & Sports Advisory Committee  of YK College, Wangjing under the aegis of the MU Sports Committee.
The inaugural function of the tournament held at the YK College’s indoor hall today was attended by Dr Ch Pradeep Singh, Asst Director of Sports, Manipur University as chief guest; Prof Kh Jugindro Singh,  Principal YK College as functional president and Deven Moirangthem, District Youth Affairs and Sports Officer, Thoubal as guest of honour.
As many as 20 men and 5 women wrestlers from various colleges participated in the tournament.
As Biramangol sealed the top honour, MB College finished 1st runners up and JCRE College finished 2nd runners up.
All the meritorious teams were feted with trophies and certificates.
