N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo MPSC-A, Paradise PC, Ibudhou Marjing PC progress into next round

IMPHAL, Oct 24 : MPSC-A, Paradise PC, and Ibudhou Marjing PC all advanced to the next round of the ongoing 38th N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament, 2025 with comprehensive wins at Mapal Kangjeibung today.
MPSC-A knocked out Arbind PC-B, Iroishemba 10-0 today in the first ground courtesy of leading scoring performances from S Bimol, M Jawan and T Roshan to make their way into the next round.
T Roshan opened the scoring in the 2nd minute before S Bimol struck twice in the third and the 7th minute to make it 3-0 at the end of the first chukker.
Roshan and M Jawan scored a goal apiece in the second chukker to make it 5-0 after two chukkers before Bimol scored two more goals in the third chukker which also saw M Jawan scoring his second to make it 8-0.
Jawan then scored his third goal when the final chukker was barely a minute old while O Suresh rounded off the scoring in the 6th minute.
Later in the second match, M Ranbir scored four goals and O Ningthemjao and M Daniel scored three goals apiece to set up Paradise PC a 13-0 win over Lainingthou Khoriphaba PC-B.
Ningthemjao scored twice while M Ranbir, M Daniel, Indrajit, and N Philip added a goal apiece in the opening chukker to make it 6-0 before Daniel and Ranbir scored a goal apiece in the second chukker to make it 3-0.
M Daniel then scored his final goal in the third chukker before Ranbir scored two goals to make it 11-0.
Ningthemjao then scored this third and N Phillip had his second in the final chukker to make the final scoreline read 13-0.
Later in the third ground, Ibudhou Marjing PC trailed 2-5 till the end of the first two chukkers but H Pritam and N Sadananda led the fightback by scoring 5 goals apiece in the last two chukkers to set up a 12-6 win over MPSC-C.
M Devanath scored thrice and Kh Dinesh and M Surjit scored a goal each to give MPSC-C a 5-2 advantage in the first two chukker as N Premananda and N Sangkar added a goal each for Ibudhou Marjing PC in the first period.
MPSC-C however drew nil in the third chukker that saw H Pritam adding twice and N Sadananda scoring four times to overturn the lead.
Devnath went on to add one more goal in the final chukker but it had no bearing as H Pritam scored thrice and Sadananda chipped in a goal to complete the 12-6 thrashing of MPSC-C.
