UNC invites

Senapati, Oct 26 : The United Naga Council (UNC) has invited all Naga communities to take part in the civic reception of Th Muivah, Ato Kilonser, GPRN, scheduled for October 29, 2025, at Tahamzam (Senapati) District Headquarters.
An invitation issued by the media and publicity cell of the UNC stated that the event will be held at Senapati Stadium, Taham-zam, from 10 am to 1.30 pm.
Earlier, the day was declared as "genna" (suspension of daily activities) by the UNC, calling upon all communities to refrain from economic and commercial activities and to declare holidays for all educational institutions in Naga areas as a mark of respect to the visit of Muivah.
The UNC expressed hope that the day would stand as a symbol of unity, strength, and commitment in the collective quest for self-determination based on the 'unique history and position' of the Naga people.
The Council further stated that the collective efforts of the people will surely bring peace, prosperity, and progress to Naga territory.
