IMPHAL, Oct 27 : A motivational talk featuring international judoka Linthoi Chanambam was held today at Lamlong Higher Secondary School.
The event, jointly organized by the Coordinating Body Khurai and the School Management Committee (SMC) of Lamlong Higher Secondary School was participated by numerous students.
Linthoi Chanambam, a recipient of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puras-kar 2024 (India’s highest civilian honor for children), is also the first Indian judoka to win a gold medal at the World Judo Cadet Championship in Sarajevo 2022 and the Berlin Junior European Cup 2025.
During the programme, Linthoi shared her journey of becoming a judoka, discussing the challenges she faced and how she achieved her current level of success. She also spoke on how students can pursue their dreams and the dedication required to achieve them. Linthoi also addressed questions raised by the students. At the end of the event, the audience prayed for the continued success of the international judoka in her career and journey.
