AKSA edge WPC 2-1, book semi-final ticket

IMPHAL, Oct 28 : AKSA, Kwakta confirmed their semi-final ticket in the ongoing 4th Philem Irabot Singh Memorial 1st Division District Football League 2025-26 as they beat WPC, Wangoo by 2-1 goals to become runaway Group A leaders.
Coming off from a 5-1 win against UYT in the previous match, Md Sazish Rahaman (29’) and Md Faruque Ahmed (53’) sealed the 2-1 win for AKSA today at Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School playground.
The lone goal for the Wangoo team was scored by Y Dayananda in the 37th minute.
YSUC, Phubala will play SCYA, Terakhongshangbi in the next match tomorrow.
