Football : TYDA lift trophy

IMPHAL, Oct 2: TYDA Toubul beat UFC Bishnupur to lift the title of the 1st Yumnam Manao Memorial 1st Division Football League  2025 today.
In the final at the Bishnupur Mini Stadium, Namsinlung K scored the first goal for UFC Bishnupur in the match's 4th minute.
The 1-0 lead, however, didn't last long as K Rabikanta scored the equalizer for TYDA in the 23rd minute.
Ignited by the equalizer from Rabikanta, N Gautam fired a second goal for TYDA in the 57th minute and sealed the game 2-1 in their favour.
Notably, the TYDA Toubul had beaten the Loktak FC 3-0 to reach the final.
The closing ceremony at the Mini stadium was attended by former rebel leader RK Sanayaima, DSA Bishnupur president L Naba Singh and social worker Maibam Sharat.
