IMPHAL, Oct 2 : The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal has notified the public that its OPD ticketing counter will start functioning at the New OPD Block (ground floor) from tomorrow onwards.
Beginning the same day, the OPDs of medicine, surgery and cardiology will also start operating at the New OPD Block, said a press release issued by RIMS, Imphal. All other OPDs will continue to function at the Old OPD Block until further notice.
It has been planned to shift the remaining departments in a phased manner, with the transition expected to be completed by next week. Seeking the cooperation of all, RIMS assured to provide assistance to guide patients to their respective OPDs.
This shift is aimed at improving patient management and reducing congestion, with upgraded facilities at the New OPD Block.
