To head to Delhi

IMPHAL, Oct 3: A number of BJP MLAs including ex-Chief Minister N Biren Singh are scheduled to leave for Delhi tomorrow to impress upon the Central leaders to restore a popular Government in Manipur, said sources familiar with the development.
Some MLAs have already left Imphal for Delhi today, while others may proceed tomorrow and day after.
Manipur has been under President's Rule since February 13, 2025.
The planned trip to Delhi comes after a series of meetings amongst the BJP MLAs, said the sources.
It is not yet clear who the BJP MLAs will meet. No appointments in particular to meet the Prime Minister or the Union Home Minister have been confirmed, added the sources.
Coincidentally, Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla is in Delhi. The Governor left Imphal for the capital yesterday.
