Village Action Plan adopted for two villages under Singngat Block

Churachandpur,Oct 6 (DIO): Under the supervision of Samuel T Lhungdim, SDO/ BDO Singngat Sub Division and as part of implementation of the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, the Tribal Village Vision 2030 and Village Action Plans were adopted at two villages for Singngat TD Block, in Churachandpur district.
The program aimed to implement The Tribal Village Plan 2030 and Village Action Plan, aligning with the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 vision.
The launched events took place at the compound of Chief of Muallum village and Community Hall at Sumchinvum Village for both Singngat TD Block, marking a significant step towards empowering tribal communities through responsive governance and grassroots leadership.
Transect walk was performed by the villagers along with Adi Sathis and Adi Karmayogis within the villages as part of Adi Sewa Parv, for the Singngat TD Block.
During the Transect walk, datas related were collected by the villagers from the two villages where the program was organized.
The Village Action Plans (VAP) adopted by the villagers include Street Solar Light, upgradation of Transformers, Water Supply Borewell, SHG office, Village Authority House/Office, Waiting Shed, Black topping of Village road, Public Toilet, et, for Sumchinvum village, while VAP adopted for Muallum Village include Library Centre, PHC, Fire Station, Borewell, Pucca Drainage, Street Solar Light, Public toilet, Water tank, MI Dam, Market shed, etc.
