Speaker greets

IMPHAL, Oct 6 : Manipur Legislative Assembly Speaker Th Satyabrata has extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Mera Hou Chongba tomorrow.
In his message, the Speaker said that the festival is celebrated on the 15th day of Mera and is a symbol of unity and harmony among all the indigenous communities of Manipur- "the Meitei people and our hill brothers and sisters".
At the Sana Konung, indigenous communities will come together to share their traditions through dances, cultural performances and a grand feast, expressing their solidarity and togetherness, said the Speaker.
Th Satyabrata expressed hope that the celebration will strengthen bonds, protect the heritage and bring peace and harmony for generations to come.
