Khelo India : 32 Bn CRPF launches Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Oct 7
32 Bn CRPF  today launched a cricket tournament under the theme “Khelo India” at the Bn Headquarters.
The event was hosted by Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant 32 Bn CRPF, said a press note issued by Adjutant, 32 Bn CRPF.
The tournament sponsored by Sports Authority of India and organised under the aegis of IG, Manipur and Nagaland Sector CPRF is featuring 18 local teams from Bishnupur district. The tournament will conclude on October 13.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Ghanshyam Behwal, DIG, Range, Churachandpur who also declared the tournament open.
Speaking at the occasion, Ghanshyam Behwal also encouraged the players to exhibit true sportsmanship and competitive spirit while also emphasising the significance of sports in promoting unity, discipline and camaraderie, it said.
