State Open Ranking TT Tournament Thokchom Bincy lays hands on U-11, U-13 girls singles titles

IMPHAL, Oct 31 : Thokchom Bincy of Imphal West sealed both the U-11 and U-13 girls’ singles title on the third day of the State Open Ranking Table Tennis Tournament-2025 being hosted by the Thoubal District Table Tennis Association under the aegis of Manipur Table Tennis Association.
Thokchom Bincy won 11-8, 11-7, 11-9 against H Malemnganbi Chanu of Thoubal to seal the U-11 girls’ singles title before securing the U-13 title with a 11-7, 11-13, 11-3, 11-4 win over Ch Alia in the final.
The day also saw RK Athoiba of Imphal East claiming the U-11 boys’ singles title with a 11-1, 11-5, 11-7 win over Laishram Sisil of Kakhing.
The U-15 girls’ singles title meanwhile went to Sanjenbam Angkita of Imphal West who edged Ningombam Riya of Thoubal 11-5, 8-11, 8-11, 11-6, 11-6 in the final match. Sagolsem Hemjit meanwhile clinched the U-15 boys’ singles title by defeating RK Athoiba of Imphal East 9-11, 13-11, 11-6, 13-11 in the title clash.
