Held with SP capsules

IMPHAL, Nov 10 : A man was rounded up by volunteers of Youth Social Club Cum Information Centre and Meira Paibis at Khurai Lamlong Ayangpalli Road today and 70 pieces of SP capsules were recovered from his possession.
According to Youth Social Club Cum Information Centre general secretary Wahengbam Tomba, some people were chasing one Md Yunus Khan (29) s/o Md Serajamat of Khomidok Karong Thong from Porompat crossing.
Md Yunus Khan who was riding a two-wheeler (Honda Activa) was intercepted and apprehended by volunteers of the club and local Meira Paibis.
On searching his body, 70 pieces of SP capsules, Rs 47,320 in cash and two mobile phones were recovered from his possession, Tomba said.
Later Md Yunus Khan was handed over to Porompat police station along with the Honda Activa and all the items recovered from his possession.
