Poppy plants destroyed

IMPHAL, Nov 11: Security forces destroyed 9 acres of poppy plantation in Ukhrul today, said Manipur Police.
The operation was carried out by the security forces in collaboration with Government agencies including Forest Department and Executive Magistrate.
The team destroyed poppy plantations over an area of 9 acres at Mullam hill range and Shongphel village hill range under Litan police station, Ukhrul district, said the police.
