Pole Star College, Manipur University win badminton titles

IMPHAL, Nov 13: Pole Star College and Manipur University have won the Inter College Badminton Tournament titles for men and women respectively.
Pole Star College beat Kamakhya Pemton College 3-1 to win the men's title of the Chongtham Ongbi Rajkumari Nalini Memorial Manipur University Inter College Badminton Tournament, hosted by the Royal Academy of Law, Oinam.
Manipur University beat Imphal College 2-0 to win the women's title.
Pole Star College vs Kamakhya Pemton College
In the singles, Kamakhya Pemton College's Harsh beat Pole Star College's Ch Ritesh 21-17, 21-14.
Pole Star College's K Nganba beat Kamakhya Pemton College's Pfoki 21-23, 24-22, 21-19.
Ch Vekson beat Kamakhya Pemton College's Klevin 21-10, 21-17.
In the doubles, Pole Star College's pair of Ch Vekson and W Juvaraj beat the pair of Borish and Pfoki 21-16, 21-19.
MU vs Imphal College
In the singles of the women's final, Manipur University's Ringrei beat Imphal College's Happy Kh 21-6, 21-5.
MU's pair of Mercy Thoudam and Ngurang Kuniya beat the pair of Kanchan and Happy Kh 21-6, 21-10.
