ZFA clarifies

IMPHAL, Nov 13
The Organising Committee of the 14th Jadonang memorial Football Tournament 2025 has clarified that Ashangbam Aphaoba Singh of SKYC Sawombung was the top scorer of the tournament.
Earlier, due to an error, the organiser had declared two players as top scorers of the tournament.
Ashangbam Aphaoba Singh scored 8 goals in the tournament and is the top scorer, said the Zeliangrong Football Association in a statement today.
Meanwhile, Ashangbam Aphaoba Singh has been felicitated at the Sawombung Kabui village.
He has been given the title as the top scorer and awarded the cash prize and certificate  during the felicitation programme, it added.
