Hawaibam Ricky clinches junior bodybuilding gold at World C’ship

IMPHAL, Nov 14
Hawaibam Ricky bagged a gold medal for India at the 16th WBPF World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2025 being underway at Batam, Indonesia.
Ricky topped in the junior open bodybuilding event to seal the gold as compatriot Chongtham Bluncely won a silver medal in the same event and Sinam Momocha bagged a bronze medal in the senior men’s 65 kg category competition.
Thokchom Sanjeeta, is another State athletes representing India at the championship and will compete in the bodybuilding competition for women’s upto 55 kg category tomorrow.
