3rd Premier League ABA win 4-0 win over MIUFC, YPHU edge KIYC 2-1

IMPHAL, Nov 15 : ABA, Kshetrigao trounced MIUFC, Mayang Imphal 4-0 as YPHU, Lalambung Makhong edged past KIYC, Kshetri Iril Mapal by 2-1 goals in today’s matches of the ongoing 3rd Premier League at SSC ground, Sekta.
In the 58th match of the 15-team tournament, ABA registered their fifth win in 8 matches riding on doubles from Meraimayum Raju (41’P, 85’) and Saikhom Abinash (10’, 45+3’). With the win, ABA climbed to third in the league standings on 17 points, below MIUFC and SSU.
Later in the day, YPHU beat KIYC by 2-1 goals for the third win in 8 matches.
Ngoru Semi Moyon (15’) and Malemnganba Naoshekpam (69’) were on target in YPHU’s win as Sagolsem Berish scored the consolation goal for KIYC late in the 83rd minute.
With the win, YPHU are 8th in the league table on 12 points (3 wins and 3 draws).
